    Extremely interesting thoughts, Jill. My one quibble would be re his suggestions in relation to the rise of commerce, accounting from such advances as capturing mammoths. Economic History, which is a fascinating area, suggests that it rquired the settled life made possible by the first agricultural revolutions and their storable surpluses, to begin our journey down these paths.
