I might show my students Bobquits.com today. It’s a mixture between a weblog and a reality show, reminiscent of Online Caroline and it’s a quit smoking campaign we saw advertised in NY. Unfortunately, it seems yesterday might have been the last update. Might compare it to the far more traditional Norwegian anti-smoking site R¯ykstopp.no and then perhaps the trendier but unweblogged Tobakk dreper site, with the anti-smoking flash game. It’d be quite a nice way of looking at how the same topic can be shaped very differently in different web genres.
