Here’s an archive of websites relating to the tsunami: “This Web archive is a collection of over 1500 sites relating to the December 2004 Tsunami disaster in Asia. A shapshot of these sites has been taken once a week starting from the first week of January 2005 in order to build an archived record of this world shattering event.”

Grammarly generated fake expert reviews “by” real scholars

Grammarly is a full on AI plagiarism machine now, generating text, citations (often irrelevant), “humanizing” the text to avoid AI checkers and so on. If you’re an author or scholar, they also have been impersonating and offering “feedback” in your name. Until yesterday, when they discontinued the Expert Review feature due to a class action lawsuit. Here are screenshots of how it worked.
