One of my students (Helge? Eirik? I remember where they were sitting…) told the class that Dagbladet.no, major Norwegian newspaper site, emphasises serious news before six pm and silly news and games after six. Explains a lot. Would anyone know of a seriousish reference for this?

    Silly mornings:

    One of the perks I allow myself occasionally as a work-at-home mom is to watch the Today show. This news magazine runs for three hours, from 7am to 10am. The first hour is hard news. The second hour is mixture, with a lot more entertainment news find its way in. The third hour is just silly: cooking, fashion, gossip.
