oooxxxooo is made of a dozen poems, circling round an hub. The hub is a line of yeses and nos that are also a table of contents leading to the poems. Each "yes" or "no!" is linked to a poem that replaces the axis, taking you out to an edge. But once the edge is explored you are forced back to the centre, trapped in the centripetal forces of these poems. Yes or no? You must choose an answer though you don't know the question. Your answer will send you to a poem that leads to a question that sends you back to the answers, and you must choose again: yes or no? There is nothing in between. There are no compromises here. Only yes or no, cross or ring, 0 or 1. |
