oooxxxooo is more cyclical that most cycles of poems, for the ring is an inescapable part of the structure and not just of the content.

Can you imagine a bicycle wheel where the rims are torn off and the spokes are bent back into the hub? Or a home-made pompom that isn't cut open yet. That's the shape of oooxxxooo. The hub of the wheel is the first page you read, the line of answers. The spokes are the poems, always leading back to the hub.
