I like Technorati‘s new WTF system. WTF stands for (ahem) Where’s the Fire? So next time you see that Paris Hilton is in the top ten searches again you can click that, and not only see a gazillion blog posts about it but also a quick summary of what she did that made everyone search for her name again. Regular users contribute the summaries and vote to decide which one sums it up most precisely. Right now, the acronym WTF itself is the seventh most popular search term on Technorati

Update: Mind you, WTF is fallible – look up “global warming” and you’ll see a war in the WTFs between people trying to say that global warming is nonsense or that it’s important and people just wanting to sell something. Hooray.

Do people flock to talks about ChatGPT because they are scared?

I’ve interpreted this as interest and a need to understand – but yesterday, Eirik Solheim said that every time […]
